Can anyone recommend a good wired mouse? Nothing fancy either, I've found mice with more than three buttons are pointless. I do vector work most of the time, so aye, any recommendations?
Your a legend man, i watched your tutorial on youtube, fucking A! Think i'm gonna go with Acetate To be honest, Being able to print directly onto it is a big plus for me. Thanks alot Man.
Paper - Cheap and disposable but not very durable and can tear badly if you don't know how to cut or when you're using spray adhesive.
Card - Stronger than paper but you can't print directly onto it, has a tendancy to bend and can curl after being sprayed a few times and detail is difficult.
Cardboard - Detail is extremely difficult but good for large/striking street work, easy to find for free (stores/skips)
Acetate - You can print onto it, a very durable material, you can clean it (after 5-10 sprays, you can crack it off when dry), it's transparent for easier alignment on a multilayer job, fantastic for detail but probably the most expensive material (average price is 10-20p/sheet), so not great for large pieces and can be fumbly for street work if you don't have a method.
That's my review of the typical materials and probably a little biased. I use acetate and if you want to know a method for preparing acetate stencils for easy/quick street work, I'd be happy to share.
-- When you're so tired that you're blacking out, that's just the screen saver in your head going off because there's been no brain activity for five minutes.
It's less about cutting and more about design and application. Beyond having a good blade, cutting mat and material, there's nothing advanced. Check out communitues like cutnspray.com or stencilrevolution.com for good advice.
