'The Falling Suit' TriptychIgnoring the whistle of empty air, there was the tired fluttering of a wayward tie. The briefcase, however, made no noise. No noise when it was held, nor when it was clutched and cradled. With a fumble, the briefcase slipped away and, in that moment, he knew that no matter what noise he made, he would never hold it again.
I've got to say I do love a good triptych. The relationship between each scene can really tell a story and appeals to the comic reader in me. This was meticulously painted on anodized aluminium, as layers can all too easily lift away with subsequent layers you've laid down.
This is a commission but if you're interested in having painted, let's have a chat about ideas. I say it time and again but it's fun to talk about ideas and stories, there's no obligation to go through with an idea after throwing them around.See more at www.pahnl.co.uk
