'Urine Trouble' (Collector's Cut)

On his back, with one wet leg, he looked up at the stars and thought...next time, I'll pee more careful at night.

It may not be a complex story but I really enjoy how this little scene unravels and becomes clear as you look across it. I originally painted this piece in 2008 as a triptych but when it came to painting this piece again, I now felt that was a little unnecessary. Oh and there are now yellow and white stars up in that dark sky.
